Wordless Wednesday

Updating!

-Katelyn has been off this week for Spring break,so she decided we should go ahead and paint her room. We went Wednesday to pick out some paint,it was a difficult decision,but she finally found what she was wanting. Now Riley is wanting his room painted. :-)

-Rileys birthday was on March 9th,he turned 5! How time flies! Katelyn,who is going to be 13 on April 9th..I feel so old! :-) ( I will post more pictures later). Riley,for his birthday he actually got a crab! lol

Today we finally got some more snow.Today was MLK birthday,so Katelyn didn't have to go to school.Luckily school has been cancelled tomorrow to,that would make a 6 day weekend for her!

Christmas Day

Christmas day was GREAT! The kids loved there stuff they got,I also loved mine! I didn't want nothing for Christmas,but Tony and the kids got me something anyway.I got a new mixer,clothes,and shoes! I thought it was sweet of them to get me something.I can't hardly believe that Christmas 2008 is gone,and 2009 is just a few days away.Time passes by way to fast! Just in a couple years Katelyn will be wanting a car for Christmas !

Maupin Christmas Play!

Today was our Christmas play at church, Katelyn was shepherd #1, Riley said a little poem,and he walked across the stage holding signs like (act 1) (act 2 scene 1). This years play was suppose to be a backwards christmas pagent . All of the kids in the play had all of their lines memorized! They all done great!

snow day!

Today was a snow day for Pickett County ..they didn't have to go to school . Katelyn was very happy that it was a snow day. Since Katelyn didn't go to school today she went to my mother-in-laws house with Riley. When I got home this was the first thing they had brought to me table mats that they had made out of Christmas cards,which I thought was really neat!

Katelyn and I was on our way home Thursday night when we found that it was snowing!

Katelyn was excited! She was really hoping to get out of school today,but she didnt.=(

But maybe she will get out(sometime).

Riley ran outside,trying to catch some in his mouth,he was also exited!

Riley enjoys it when Katelyn gets out of school,so that way he would have someone to play with.=)

Almost Christmas!

It is 41 more days till Christmas! Riley and Katelyn are excited. It's hard to believe that it's just around the corner,before long i am going to have to start buying presents!Riley was begging me to put up the Christmas tree last weekend, but instead I let him get the little Christmas trees out.

I let Katelyn put her little Christmas tree up in her room, so Riley was a little excited about that.

Each year I let Katelyn decorate around the house for Christmas, she actually does a great job.:)
